There have been precious few new threads in this section. Are our GB players getting any more tolerant of rubbish? Or are the irritants being removed?
Or...is the flood of steam posts just about to break lose?
I think it's because most of us here are like Caz, sick and tired of the same whining. Inevitably, all the whining and ranting is more or less the same thing, and ranting about it further does not solve it.
Or either that, all the ranting fools are on leave (or worse, AWOL, how could they not tell us so we could setup a party).
wait for it...it will come, along with the flood of newbies to this forum. there will be more complains about all those things we're already tired of... <_<

Let's hope it doesn't happen so soon, then. This is quite a pleasant beginning for a forum. If the mods did their job, and we kept our cool..?
I don't know if it's something to be so upset about, though. Griever, for example -- Think back to those days when you thought "Random" was a bot.. or when you thought the wind changed randomly, tornados had no forwarning, lightning came from nowhere..
Think of the first time you had the "connection" error.
If you were a member of gbhq at the time, chances are.. you'd have asked someone about it.
You wouldn't want to be flamed about it, either. All the questions seemed pretty logical to you.
And since they most likely didn't implement 'search' you can teach them that, too. who knows. maybe this is the first forum they've ever gone to!
So, look at it as a good thing.
The sooner we answer their dumb questions, the sooner they'll stop asking them.

hmm...shepwns, i really wasn't trying to say anything about noobs that come and ask questions about things they don't understand, thats fine with me if they have things they need to ask about. but this is the steam room, and tweedles, i assumed posted that since he saw that there weren't many people complaining about things in GB right now. i was more referring to the people that aren't completely new at this game, and each one of them comes in there and makes the same rant every time about lagouts, or gb being down, or just the fact that going random gave them bad bots....
its fine if they complain about a few things that are really bugging them and all, but if they start to make topics on every little thing thats wrong, that just gets annoying,

Heh, my job is rather boring as of now. (Steam room & Screenshots mod) I can't wait till the idiots start flowing in, give me something to yell at :D
i think we should compile a huge list of FAQ's and make that into a post and HOPE that the people will read it...but most people dont >_>
I think it's because people have realized that ranting in here isn't going to solve anything. The only way you can solve stuff is to hunt down those stackers or hackers or scammers...

Well I must say it's nice that the forum had a smooth opening without too many repetitive postings by new players. I don't mind helping people but for you newbies, please search the forums before creating a new topic.
Or we can follow PGB: a 1-hit KO ban hammer. We'll have dead bodies littering the forums, but at least decomposers will be getting a run for their money.

The reason that things keep popping up in these kinds of forums is that they never get less irritating and they never stop happening.
Teams will always stack.
Good players will always be accused of hacking.
Hacks will always be around.
Idiots will always play.
Tkers and room raiders will tk and room raid.
Singlish will never die.
Mobiles will always be overpowered.
Thusly people will always get pissed and come to a forum like this to let off steam. If they do, please don't post that they are complaining about the same old crap. It likely just happened to them. Let them get it off their chests. That is what this is for, isn't it?

The main reason in my opinion why there are so little new threads is that no one had heard about GBGL. Or at least the forums.

The RP character thread flooded with characters, up to like 20 pages.
You gotta skim through every page and guy before you find the dude you want.
And, your guy must be original, different from the rest., but it seems all is taken.
You're left with a hobo guy with a stick for a weapon.
With so many people, some are new and not from GBHQ, there'll be all new
WD AVATR SHLD I GET??? or LOOK I DID A DK YSTERDAY!!!!! or WAT UR FAVE MOBILE threads.
