on my old comp my IE is being gayer after every second!!!
^this happens EVERY FUCKING TIME!!!!
At least you're IE didnt open up the way for a RAM killing virus to get onto you're comp -.-
Wow, ur picture is old. It still displays GBHQ.
Btw, GBHQ is still not back on for the community forum that Caz mentioned.
That's not old, thats the GBHQ Community forum. You have to PM caz, toolbert, or rev for your name and password. Im an Admin there and an op in the GBHQ channel on IRC.
Looks like i can only PM Caz or toolbert because i couldnt retrieve the password. It just keep saying "Sorry, we don't have a member with that name in our records, please try again and double check the data you entered. "
You have to pm Caz, Rev, or Toolbert to GET an account. It's not a public forum. All accounts that were on the old GBHQ were gone. I suggest logging on mirc and pming caz through #GBGL.
and thats why you get Firefox, or firebird if your computer can't handle it...tabbed browsing is awesome...
you can turn off those blasted error report messages by right clicking on My Computer->Properties->Advanced->Error Reporting->Disable :D
and yeah, firefox ownz. i just switch recently, and i don't regret it... yet, anyway. i'll have to see how well it does over time. i get these weird directory / cannot be found messages when i hit back on this forum sometimes.

Firefox is the best. I've been using it since it was called pheonix.
Recently, there was a critical flaw revealed in IE.
When one hovers your cursor over a link, normally the 'destination' would show up at the bottom of the screen. However, a flaw was found that allows 'spoofing', so when you click the link that says it'll lead to one place, in actual fact, it takes you to another site.
*Sigh* Yet another reason to switch to Mozilla, and IE security sux.
Is Firefox > Avant browser? I've been using AB for a while now, and it works pretty fine.
Everything else > IE > Netscape is all that I know.
Avant Browser (http://www.avantbrowser.com)
Well, I prefer Mozilla Firefox to Avant Browser...Also, Avant Browser is based on Internet Explorer...
No love for Netscape, no love! I've tried them all, and Netscape is the only one I don't want to set on fire. But that's just me...
Opera >>> Firefox.
I have both.
Opera has sucked since v7 came out. At v6 I may well consider it on par, and in some ways superior, to Firefox. Mainly the download manager and quick preferences parts. But the recent versions are rubbish... I don't even know what their target audience is with it anymore.
There's really no reason not to use Firefox these days, IMO, especially with the ridiculous quantity of nummy plugins that are available for it. It's got eeeeeverythin' these days.
Get Mozilla Firefox! (http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/)
What blarg said.
I've got my Firefox set up perfectly. Everything's on one line of the browser (bookmarks, menu, back/forward, url bar), I've got mouse gestures, a great skin, and no tab exceeding 100 pixels. Compact, clean, and easy to use.
get firefox if you have the system. It rules, new plugins are out all the time for different stuff. So much faster and better than IE
Why would you get Firefox, when you can get regular Mozilla for the same price (that price being free). Firefox is basically regular Mozilla, except with stuff taken out, so I don't see any reason why you wouldn't just get the regular one (unless you're running low on harddrive space or something.)
Oh, and get the Orbit 3+ theme, I think it's one of the best ones.
EDIT:

Umm, you know Netscape
is Mozilla don't you? It runs on exactly the same engine, but has had stuff like the logo chagned to make it seem different. Plus it's less stable.
Mozilla is an application suite containing a browser, a mail and newsgroup client, a chat client, and more...Firefox is just a browser and nothing more...If you already have good clients for the other things, why would you need or even want the whole Mozilla suite? In such a case, Firefox would be the better choice...Firefox is faster than Mozilla as well...Also, Firefox is not just the standalone Mozilla browser; it differs from Mozilla in many ways...
You don't get Firefox over Mozilla for hard drive space. You get it because Mozilla, the browser, runs something like it was stuck in molasses attempting to go on its glorious journey uphill in winter. Always has, likely always will.
'Sides, there's very little Moz does that, as far as being a browser goes, Firefox can't. If you can come up with a good example of what makes it superior, I'd like to hear it. Themes and a mail/news client are not arguments.

Yeah, Netscape came first. History of Netscape (http://www.blooberry.com/indexdot/history/netscape.htm).
- Jan. 1998 Netscape announces its browser will be free.
Also announced: Browser source code will be made available for free on the Internet.
Mozilla project begins
-Nov. 1998 Netscape decides to integrate its new NGLayout rendering engine (Gecko) into Mozilla (v.6.0)
Then Netscape integrates Mozilla code at 6.0 and afterwords. I just like Netscape better than Mozilla is all.
Im happy with IE it crashes once and a while..but its enough
*downloads firefox*
I just love firefox because of the mass of extra's you can get for it... makes browsing easier.

I don't understand why everyone says Mozilla is so much slower than Firefox. I've had both, and they run exactly the same on my computer. Also, I'm not saying that Firefox is bad, it's very good. I'm just saying that (as far as I've seen) Mozilla can do everything it can, plus it has more features, so I don't see any reason to get Firefox.
firefox is free :D
And drk has a very old version of IE

Firefox is slightly different than Seamonkey (the Mozilla Suite), and all new browsing developments are really being implented in Firefox rather than the Suite.

Eh, if you say so. I'm happy with my Mozilla though..
But... Seamonkey? Since when is it called that? If it was officially called Seamonkey I'd definetly switch over to Firefox. God man, awful name.
SeaMonkey is a code name used to refer to versions of Mozilla based on XPFE and NGLayout/Gecko...It's essentially the code name for the current Mozilla browser...
Yes... they're not good with names.
I bet half the people that complain about Windows, Microsoft, or IE (or even Softnyx) don't actually have a problem with it, aside from the occasional bug, but just say they do to be cool.

True. I hate these so called microsoft haters, even when they use WinXP

I apologize for my immature comment earlier. I've been having issues with windows lately and I added that stupid joke to let off some steam. :(
@#$%!!!!
I killed IE when it gave me this fucked up shit..I open IE this is what follows.
1: Some weird ass homepage that is up in seconds
2: Barrage of pop ups around 7
3: I close most 2 of which pop ups are FULL SCREEN!!!!!!!!!!!!
4: As I close some pop ups MORE come in.
5: Messages of whenyou search and wanting to download programs
6: Cpu going slow the rest of the day
7: me restarting computer and eventuly DLing mozilla
8: Me removing IE
9: Next day IE is there and mozilla isnt
10: Repeat
Who doesnt hate any program designed by Microsoft...?

The people that don't jump on the mind-numbingly stupid bandwagon of Microsoft hate.
We both know that Internet Exploer has its bugs, and that better browsers are avaliable.
I dont see how that is a band-wagon, if it is a proven fact.
Whats the URL for the new gbhq community forum?
I think u have to personally ask Caz to help u sign up. U couldnt access it from the main site.
QuoteI think u have to personally ask Caz to help u sign up. U couldnt access it from the main site.
yeah, as far as I know the new forums arent working quite right at the moment./
The old mIRC channel is still up and running though.
The new GBHQ forums ARE working, you just have to ask an admin in the IRC channel (irc.gamesurge.net, #GBHQ) to make you a name, because there's no other way to register.
ah.
that makes a bit more sense.
but I think I like these forums enough to stay here, no use going back toa forum that isnt even public.
back on topic now...
hmm my brother uses crazybrowser. anyone prefer that over firefox? what's the pros/cons between the two?
