Hereby I declare an important rule for league games.
If a team is bunged, he/she/they have lost the game. If you do NOT agree on these rules, say so before starting a jewel game or else these very rules will apply.
There have been several doubts already in the 1v1 league, but this is what Gunbound and many of us league players agree on. Bunging your 1v1 opponent results in a win.
I need clownbongola or someone more trustworthy than me to confirm what I just stated.
As far as I am concerned, if it says "WIN" above your name on the final screen, you win :D.

Man, that would piss me off. But I agree with this.
This may be a whole new strategy. Bunging someone, given the right map, could be easier than hitting enough Jewels to win.

i was recently bunged on a 1v1 by uberbacon... we both got ice >_<
Its kinda annoying when a bunge suit sets the a smaller map, and chooses a cake to play jewel..
then they just ignore the jewels and bunge you, since you cant hurt them, its difficult to win without a similar bunge suit.
I have since stoped playing jewel.

well...basically what uber's saying is, that bunging on jewel counts as a win, so therefore it counts as a win for that game in that particular gbgl match. Jewel 1v1 always had the win condition of the other person being bunged, you just don't see it too often.
Except if you're playing uber he likes to bunge in jewel games :blink:

Uberbacon, no offense, But you suck at jewel. You pick dummy slope just to end up bunging someone. Have you won any more than 5 games by not bunging?
I say its a backdoor rule to eek out wins. I despise bunging in jewel and i think it should be a stalemate

bunging someone in jewel games is pretty gay.
I don't really agree that random bots in dummy slope is fun, because it depends on your bots. to win. If you get a bunge bot, you're going to bunge the opponent (hence the level) and if you get a powerful bot, you go for the jewels. If you get grub, you might just as well jump off the map right now. But at least it's equal to both players, as the bots are random. Even though I don't think it's fun, I think it's still funner than Metamine duals only, and c'mon, how can you turn down uber!
And if your opponent is trying to bunge you, they're going to be messing your angle up... so your chances go down to even hit the jewels.
Yeah, so unless you can finish fast, you'll be forced to bunge back :/. And provided the right bot, bunging is a lot quicker than actually going for the jewels. Well, almost as quick as a game in metamine duals only. Almost. If metamine games that last 3 turns makes you seem pro, then I guess you should keep playing them. My idea of a fun game is a long one with lots of suspense and thrills. I dunno, maybe it's just me...

About the bunging someone in jewel games, yeah it does suck. But that is what teleports are for. Let them waste time almost bunging you, whilst you are getting points, then teleport away. :)
