Spencer brought up a very good point to me earlier today... which involves the GBGL-HQ league and a 2v2 team!
Since we have a good amount of people in our guild who are great at what they do, does anyone want to be on a 2v2 team?

Well, I think that FuSioN would have a great chance on winning this season's 2v2 league. And as uber suggested, not to have 1 big team, but a composition of smaller teams. I think that would be an AWESOME idea because then we have greater chances to win.
Perhaps we could have a total of 3 teams.
Naren lead one.
Tyler lead another.
Tommy lead another.
That would mean we could have 5 people on each team (two for each) and then we could all participate.
Just ideas... I'll post/edit more as soon as I think of more ideas... Please give me you guys's input
Moving deeper into this idea, we should take into account who uses which bot. I use Trico, a power hitter, so if there is anyone using a bot that does 500+ dmg on a dual (following my shot) then we can kick ass. There are so many strategies involved with this... ... so yea.
We could wait till everybody posts up which bot they wish to "master."
This is a good idea, and following up on Tyler's strategy, it would be cool if somehow we find pairs of people who uses bots that could "help" each other out?.. Does that make any sense?
Aaaah... yes, but the thing is, how would it be possible to help each other out... if our accuracy isnt as great as we want it to be? I know for a fact that heck, my accuracy sucks. So i'll have to work on that =/

mine is better in 2v2's because i know turtles 1/4 2/4 3/4 4/4 sd shots..... but I think we should get the teams first this season, work out the kinks, then fix it all up next season

umm.. not really that good in 2v2 games... but if anyone needs a spare tyre,i'll be there i guess.

Anyways, Mark and I should be on the same team...fact is we can play together quite often and we can call each other if a match is potentially available. But...do you all think Lightning and Ice work nice together? I'm not so sure...
So, uh, Naren? Tyler? Tommy? who wants us (or me if everyone is against an Ice/Lightning combo) to play with them?
Which team leader could best utilize Lightning? Ice? (I'm doubting Tyler...since both of these bots don't deal all that much damage...especially Lightning.)

yeah, perhaps Naren/Tyler/Tommy could lead Mark/Keith.... and perhaps Tom and I could play together since well... we have played together quite a few times... and ultimate1213 (whats his name?) would play with Rich because... ???? Just some ideas.

Do we have to play the bot we have "mastered"? I personally like playing all the bots so if we can put strategy over bot mastery that would be cool.
i don't think so. I think that we play a few seasons, find out who plays best with who (do dif. combos each season) and then go from there.

I was thinking, you guys... what is the advantage of having two different Fusion teams for the 2v2? I was looking around at toaster and they have most of their active members in just one group. Why dont we do that so our wins are brought together instead of having two separate teams, putting competition and a division within the guild. What do you think?
Naren, I really like the idea of having more than one GBGL 2v2 league team for one main reason...More games possible--Fusion can face Fusion! In the end, if a Fusion team does well, it makes all of us look good!
Right now Fusion1 has been created and has played two games. (Capnkj2, GiLLiGan128, TomEpsilonX and GoogleSearch) Guess who participated in the 1st one? FFSake and Capnkj2. The second one? I think either FFSake and Bravodor or Bravodor and TehShere. My point is that even when the guild is divided up a bit, nobody minds allowing another Fusioner--or both Fusioners--to sub. Let's try it this way...with four teams of 4.
one of them was with Mark and I vs. Latty and Monkey :P
