gunbound isnt that improved since hey opened it and now they are making another game.
Sofynyx just looks for easy outs. They dont want to take time to fix the old stuff. Damn money whores.

if it's an RPG it will be a completely different type of game.
but if it's anything like GB in terms of overall quality, it will be a kickass game with dreadful server / network handling and have more bugs in it than the mosquito coast. oh yeah, and the people who play it will be a broad cross-section of every potty-mouthed 13-year old brat and nerdling from the eastern tip of the americas to the heart of asia. so given the potential frustration i think i'll quit ahead of time (YES, I'VE DECIDED TO QUIT RAKION, I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!) and save myself an extra ulcer.

Looks like another run of the mill MMORPG. Boring. When will people get sick of the exact same game coming out over and over again? When did game developers lose all sense of originality and new ideas? Why doesn't this trend bother anyone else but me?

Don't put too much faith into it. They canned their last project a year ago (Magic Punk).

No kidding, 40fps is pretty insane.
gunbound is 20fps and home video cameras are 30fps. If you ever get a chance to play it with no lag it will be super smooth

;): the game looks like it could be pretty good, however, not only is this SOFTNYX that is working on it, but generally, the early stages of MMORPGs are incredibly laggy and unreliable (i.e. WoW over the last 3 months :<_<: ) so, though the game may be good, im not counting on it for reliability
If I want PVP-based games such as Rakion, I'll just go out and buy Guild Wars.

A movie preview is out.. seems decent, the speed the action can move. There was in that preview alot of units.. big and small monster.. a flying dragon with nice fire spray attack, Theres also the ninja girl boobs physics! Not as good as DOA beachvolley ball but still good. ^^
