I had bought a book a while back, about making games in C++, and I had visited the homepage and got overly involved in the religious forums until they got removed for getting too heated (go me!) and I really haven't been active anywhere except here. Then I realized that there might be a chance that some of you might like to look at some of the tutorials there, since some are actually aimed at coding and modding various platforms (like teaching you how to get started making your own GBA game and even going so far as to how to add a new hard drive on your xbox if you dare).
So without further ado, here's Jonathan S Harbour (http://www.jharbour.com/)!
Anyone feel like collaborating on a GBA version of GunBound? ^^
wow, you're way behind! :o

But where's the programming? kiwi, i feel like we've just had sex, without the orgasm! Shame on you!
Kiwi's "Draw small gunbound sprites" contest was actually a trick to get people to do the graphics for his gunbound gba game. Shhh
Here is a link to a shitty ass unfinished shoot em up game I made (http://www.personal.psu.edu/mps233/SpaceShooter.zip)
Haha CommunistBus, that game was great... all you needed was a final boss, some instruction, and some sound
Heh.. Thanks I guess I should have posted the controls huh O_o
WASD or Arrows move
ctrl shoots
enter selects from the menu
I forget if you can pause in that version, but if you can its probably space bar
Not bad man, I almost died with the small barrage that you implemented! Only thing I'd suggest adding would be increased ship speed (or upgrades?).
I'm actually going to start work on a new game, a side scroller, once finals week is over. I made that game as a learning experience and now I'm ready to move on to more complex things. Next game will have sound and music
Make a game similar to Commander Keen and I'll be happy ^^.
