25th of june has passed in korea and update has made. yet i still see no avatar added, or winner announced. i think softnyx has completely forgot about it. lol.
Well, let's wait and see. I'm no surprised if they postpone it again since tens and thousands of entries were entered. They even have to look at all the ridiculous entries that were cut and pasted. It's more time for us to gain money for the avatars, anyways. :)

This is insane. I think we should all complain to Softnyx. This is just plain bullshit.
The people checking th images should have kept records and even looked over the images picked for personal best. Also, seeing that ROY4L wasn't once notified for personal best is complete bullshit.

anyway... meh-ish on the winning avs. the reaper one is okay and the bird one is pretty original. i'm guessing the reason the ones submitted by conceptor and monketsu, beautiful as they were, were "too detailed" to make. and come on, it's gb. they'd screw over the look anyway. xD personally i loved the dragon avs that conceptor made, and [CONSPIRACY!] to me they really, REALLY look similar to that "new" greater devil suit that gb just put out in the av shop a few days ago... Master, it would be the same if a known scammer/hacker came and registered here. I would ban them in a second. If the real cuppacino ever registered here, I would ban him/her in a second as well. There is no place on GBGL for theives, and technically he scammed GIS (OMG?) into thinking his stuff was legit, though it's pretty lame they didn't find out on their own. I have emailed them myself as well. Though I doubt anything will come of it but it cannot hurt to try.
I suppose it is ironic that they come out with avs with many similarities that both monk and I did. red-devil/red-dragon, both big yellow horns, etc. and monk's frankenstein with minor details changed.
Its kind of funny though, i thought. the winner probably had the most simplest design. How hard is it to do a cloak, maybe GB just wanted to do something simple and were lazy. On the other hand, 2nd place was just as detailed as any other thing i've done. Except, the design, was randomly cubist. You know like picasso, not in the good way but in the wierdly placed proportions cubist style. Its all sad. who knows what they were looking for, obviously not the best peices of work. So many people are disapointed.

i agree conceptor. i think the reason you guys didnt win was because they were too lazy to do all the details in your art. if you look at the top 3 winners' they are pretty simple and plain. very unoriginal ideas too. it said, it gave personal prize to people who were just "ok", or people with too much detail on thier avatar and they couldn't turn it into "actual" avatar. You guyz art was literally blows my mind and if I was the GIS team i would've picked conceptor, monketsu, and kalomus. But i guess the drawing for GIS was too complicated. =/
oh yea by the way, the 2nd winner's avatar is so gay someone would have to pay me to wear that thing. lol.
