Title: My leave of fusion, sorry to say.
Post by: DietSnappple on Jun 07, 2005, 06:26 PM
You guys, I have to tell you that this was one of the hardest choices I have made... Ever... I am still debating whether or not I still want to... I have so many friends, yet many of those people have left... Those people were the ones who made me leave nS`T, and now they are leaving us... I respect their decision, but hardly anyone is active any more. Tommy left, Tom left, Steve left, Tyler left, Naren left, Rich doesn't play... Hell, I don't think anyone is active any more...

I am leaving to enter a guild that tommy and I are making... We have been talking about it lately, about creating a competitive guild, and I now want to join due to the fact that fusion is falling apart.

I believe the guild will be called 'ёlement', and it is a competitive guild, trying to be a good guild while a skillful one.

This is one of the hardest decisions I have ever made.. I have only been in 2 guilds in my life, FuSioN and nS`T, both great ones, but for now, I am moving to ёlement.

I hope that you guys  can accept this. I know I am letting people down while doing this, but this is what I want to do right now. Hopefully I won't regret doing this.

Sorry guys :/

By ALL means we shall remain friends, and hopefully play close to as much as we did before.

heh, i think the guild should split from here on now. Not much going on with our guild anymore. I think it'd be the best for everyone. I'll be quitting too.

Man.. all my favorite people in Fusion are quitting. I said I wouldn't quit but man.. I can see this guild going off the cliff just because of inactivity, and fast. If Naren really does hand off the Guild Master title then I might be out, too. I'm not much for being in a primarily competitive guild.. just a guild with cool, easygoing friends is all I want. But now they're going bye bye. :(

Way to have such a positive upbeat spirit about things.

To those who want to leave I say this: Thanks for doing nothing to remedy the situation, instead you make it worse. "OMFG SO AND SO HAVE LEFT GUILD!!! I LEAVE TOO, YA THAT WILL HELP A WHOLE BUNCH" = fails. If you truly gave half a shit you would instead be trying to help me get this guild on the correct path once again. I say it like it is, whether you wanted to hear it or not isn't my problem.

So now I ask you, are you ready to just throw this all away? All over something stupid? Think about it before you make these stupid threads about how bad the situation is and how you're 'thinking' about quitting. I take it personally that you would even think about it. If you have a reason for leaving, so be it. Naren had his reasons for leaving, as did Tyler. They had absolutely no intentions of ruining this guild.

I'll leave it at that.

I have never had intentions of ruining the guild. If that was directed to me, you have me totally wrong. I was thinking about leaving before naren and tyler left. After they left, my majority of the friends were gone, and I joined this guild because of all of my friends in it. Now I am joining another guild so that I can become a better player, and so I can play with a more active guild.

Take it as you will, but Im in charge of Fusion now and was planning to get a decent GBGL team together. The guild itself will remain as laid back and friendly as ever. But I want to make a GBGL 2v2 team that will be feared. I would personally train some people how to work as a team. (Only if they volunteered for it) Does that count as competitive?

EDIT: And instead of making your own guild I want to welcome the both of you to come help me make Fusion into what I want it to be. A friendly guild, but one that is to be taken seriously if challenged.

Well shere, I never intended on ruining the guild, and how come you start caring about the guild now? What have you been doing before everyone started to leave? Your saying that were ruining the guild kind of bothers me because you say it like we intend to and want to ruin the guild. If you haven't been on lately, its mostly that spencer is on most of the time and i've seen kirby on a few times when i was on. Yah i'll admit im not very active alot, but the main reason why is because there's no one to play within the guild. I get asked to play 2v2 gbgl games and my response all the time has to be " there's no one from my guild thats on".  I won't quit if you need help rebuilding this guild, i'll stay.

QuoteWell shere, I never intended on ruining the guild, and how come you start caring about the guild now?
Look, if you want to leave, leave. It's your choice and I dont want anyone here that doesn't want to be here. Why do I care? Well out of all the guilds I've been in, this is one of the most comfortable. We all treat each other like friends. I'd hate to see it fall apart because a few people who had certain other obligations (It's called life people :P) decided it best to leave. Other than that, I've never been one to admit defeat in anything, I'm a stubborn jackass and I always will be.

QuoteWhat have you been doing before everyone started to leave?

Within a few minutes of Naren's announcement I got on AIM and started talking with him. I asked him to reconsider, and he did. But in the end it's best if he do what he wants to.

Look, I'm not here to talk down on anyone. My post comes off as harsh because that was the intent. Take it as a wake up call. The guild is falling apart and I'm here to stop it from happening. Leaving doesn't help the situation, and is entirely unecessary. We need to get the word out that we're stronger than ever and prove it in the GBGL 2v2 league by entirely dominating it.

Shere, I have decided to leave. I'm sorry. Tommy and I are starting a guild because we did not think fusion was very competitive, and we wanted to meet new people. Also, we wanted a new name. Good luck with FuSioN, shere.

You know what I dont understand?

I dont understand how making a new guild is going to make it any more competitive.  You are the same two people.  The only difference is that the guild name you are both under... is DIFFERENT.  Tommy tried this more than enough times.  He started... "LOST" but where'd that go?

Frankly, I'm sitting here... trying to understand how the FUCK starting a new guild would make it more "competitive".

I mean... WHAT THE FUCK?  Where's the damn logic in that?

Edit:  And to add to that, the last time tommy left, he dragged Joel(ffsake) out of the guild and got him to join "LOST", but where'd they end up?  Fusion.

You guys go off and convince yourselves that the grass is greener on the other side.  In the end... you'll truly find out... that that's never the case.

I also want to meet new people. Naren, if this guild would have remained, and all of my friends stayed in it, I WOULD HAVE STAYED. You, Tom, Steve, Tyler, Joel, Richard, AND Tommy have left.

I JOINED THIS GUILD BECAUSE MY FRIENDS WERE IN IT.

Now my friends are gone now. They are either 1) in palt or 2) quit.

Now I am off to a new guild for new friends.

did i ever say that i was directly talking to you? my good man?

Edit:  Why the hell are we debating about this... if what is done is done already?

Take care, my friends.

I simply asked you if you and tommy wanted to help me fix fusion. If you don't, fine, feel free to do whatever it is you plan on doing. As far as new people go, we'll be meeting plenty of them here. Seeing as we have very few 'old' people.

I am simply saying, we should work together rather than apart. I have plans for this guild but with what little (though much appreciated help) I am recieving, it is gonna be hard. I just wish you would stay and help, that's all spencer.

Also, as of midnight tonight est. the private forum password will be changed. Anyone who does not ask me for the password within a week after that will be removed from the roster, we're starting anew. Whether you want to be a part of that or not is up to you

-Shere.

It was more of a response to Naren's post.

Seems that this is probably the last time I will post here. Goodbye, all.
