So heres my take on life, this is why i waste countless mindless hours playing gunbound, its like a drug. i cant smoke pot anymore its not good for me, i need some kind of substitute.
my teachers never even let me pay attention they just figured i was stupid and didnt want to learn or anything im sorry im just the 10% of the population or whatver taht suffers from "ADD" or whatever the fuck you want to call it, its all bunch of crap americans obviously can raise there damn kids i have such a pathetic view on life and im sure half or more of my generation does.
frankly, i dont see the damn point. if i wanted to learn all this sequence and matrix bullshit dont you think i would? sequences and shit can help alot with accounting, sure, but i dont plan on being a fucking secretary, in fact my goal in life has nothing to do with higher education in the freaking least.
i fail an algebra 2 REGULARS class (aka MY CLASS WAS FREAKING SLOW KIDS) and i have to take an online HONORS course with all this shit ive never heard of, because my canadian (no offense, he is like 45 lives with his mom is really ugly and from canada, not that all canadains are like that just saying my guild master lives in canada man k.) retard mother fucker of a teacher never got past graphing linear equations! its a wonder i failed that class too, that shit seems like childs play to all this. i just had no respect for the man, he pubilicly humilated several kids in the class and at one point dropped a colored friend from the honors course and put him in my class, saying "Derek knows he's stupid, but hes not afraid to say it he asks for help" OH IM FUCKING SORRY IF I DONT ENJOY BEING PUT ON THE SPOT EVERY DAMN TIME I MAKE A MISTAKE BECAUSE HE CANT, ALMOST REFUSES TO TEACH FORMULAS WRITTEN IN THE TEXTBOOK.
I was always backwards at math i never knew about order of fucking operations until just last year and thats 6th grade shit, now im not dumb in fact im grasping the concept of this honors class more then i thought i would. I can get through trigonometry and physics, especially geometry easily because i had teachers who knew how to teach. not to mention that is just a bunch of substitution anyways.
I realize and know full well that "math is everything" yea great IM FREAKING FASCINATED BY THE FORMULA FOR A DAMN CUBE. I anknowladge that math makes up the universe i just dont care to learn about it. I predict a huge decline in intrest in career and college with my generation, at least where i live. My oldest sister dropped out of college and went to a junior college wants to be a kindergarden teacher, my other sister dropped out of highschool got her GED a year later some how i dont know how, she just shifts from job to job and wants to enroll in a beauty school for cosomotology.
mindless, it seems that with the outsourcing and what not thats been going on the high paying important jobs will all be going to immagrints and foriegners looking for something to do with their lives, and they should, because i dont think americans are interested in their lives, they;re too busy watching reality TV and the media and the war like they have nothing else to worry about but that. I'm in agreement with you on many of your points SimplyShadow. I get blamed for being who I am quite a bit as well, so I spend countless hours on the net (too many for my own good), and I have to say I feel better about myself because somewhere along the line I found out who I am not. I am definitely not a businessman. Business is evil to me, and I'll uphold that as long as I can. The education system is currently a nice brainwashing system, which entropically guides our minds into working ourselves to death, and doing so at something we desperately do not like to do. I was lied to, and so were you, it's not about following your dreams. It's about following something else, something more corporate, something more green, no matter what it takes to follow it, you better or you'll "die a sack of shit". Seriously, many people are brainwashed into this mindset of being greedy and making descisions on the spot instead of long term.
I'm just wondering if everyone in America actually earned minimum $40k per year, including 17 year olds working their hearts out for Mickey D, if things would be any different. I'm also wondering how much it would affect the crime prevention things to legalize all drugs to everyone (and punish stupid acts instead of their catalysts). I seriously doubt we're going to see a better place anytime soon, unless people like us who are smart enough to actually do something and change it. I see no reason to even figure out the perimiter of a square much less find motivation to solve some complex equasion. When I find a reason for doing an equasion (I can't spell, by the way.) I'm fine. I'll ace the test. Any other time? 55% or lower for me. Math is just lame.

hey feel too bad, I quit taking math classes after I finished Geometry. At the time I was planning on gettig a degree in CAD (Computer-Aided Drafting) and didn't see the point in going further. I've since dropped out of college, after testing out of my ENTIRE FIRST SEMESTER of classes because I already knew everything, and now can barely stand to pick up a drafting board, let alone work with a CAD program because I hate it so very much. Nothing kills an interest faster than trying to make a career out of it...I'm planning on getting a network admin/web design CIS degree from a local college here because I have a lot to learn in that field and probably won't burn out on it.
I know people with ADD, sometimes I wonder if I don't have it myself, and I understand it can make life difficult. I would think the smoking weed would help with that, make your brain calm down a bit, but I'm no doctor, and that sucks you can't smoke it anymore. (Is that why? or is there some other reason? just curious)
Just remember, you're not alone, even though it may seem like it at times, you've at least got friends here, even if we're all over this damn shithole of a planet, or at least, that's what our 'elders' have made of it....

She made reference to 6th and 7th graders, but never said that was what grade SHE was in. The math classes she's taking aren't 7th grade course work....at least not around where I grew up....nor did 7th grade have online classes, that's a college thing here...

My school doesn't even have any AP math's. We just have AP English and AP History. Hell, if you didn't get Pre Algebra in Seventh grade, you're screwed, cause you won't be able to get into
any of the higher maths at my school. If you don't have Algebra 1 in 8th, you have to take Intergraded Math (Lower then Pre Algebra) until you graduate. :<_<:
