Ok, i just got kicked out of a game on my FIRST SHOT because i over shot a dragon, and hit my ally for 180ish damage. It immediately pops up with that stupid abuse alert and proceeds to CLOSE THE CLIENT. This is like the 4th time this week that thing fucked my games! My friend (whom i shot by accident) got it twice within 5 games because he hit me with single shot 2s by accident when i was next to the enemy. However, it does this shit at random! I've had my allies hit me for over 400 before and they don't get crap! I'm really getting fucking tired of this thing.
No, getting kicked once and a while is better than having botters.
I have yet to get this alert and I've hit plenty of teammates dead-on by accident. I'm not sure why you get kicked just for inflicting damage to a teammate, but don't kill them. From what I understand, botting involves suicides and maybe TKs. It doesn't seem like it would be hard to set the alert to only pop up when someone loses a life and not when you just take a little off their life.
To answer the poll question: No I don't think it should be removed. Despite screwing over legit players every now and then, it's one of the best anti-botting ideas I've seen from softnyx.
See, being the best player in the entire world, I never hurt myself or teammates, so I really have never seen this box :)
But yeah, I think it's a pretty useless measure to take NOW. They could have done it 2 years ago, and it would have had an effect. Now nobody bots anymore so it doesn't really matter. Same thing goes for reduced 1v1 GP => It's fucking retarded, and another reason Gunbound makes me sick to my stomach.
Yeah I think just one or the other, either the TK box or the GP reduced bonus would have been effective enough.. but not both.

Just did that to Tony (bloodbig, arthropod, BLAH BLAH BLAH), I hit him with a shot 1, nothing pops up, he shoots me with a shot 2, nothing happens, WE ARE ALL HAPPY. :ph34r:

Ok, i don't mind if it comes up when you suicide, but i see NO reason for this to come up when you accidentally even wing any ally. I mean, it's not like i zeroed in and did 800 dmg. I hit him with a stray shot 1 for 180. Also, about 4 games later, HE got the same crap because he slipped a baby under me for 80 friggin damage, so it kicked him. I see absolutely NO reason for it to come up when you hit a teammate. I've never know botters to kill their ALLIES (wasn't the whole idea 1v1 for botting? so shouldn't the GP nerf have covered it?) honestly, they're just being asses about this thing.
