Think of a gbgl event.
My only idea so far is a 'think of a gbgl event event' This is where everyone thinks of an event and the winner gets gold and their event is used in the future.
So... do you also want us to think of more events, or are you just telling us that the event you thought of was a "think of a gbgl event" event...?
As for other events, you could like, name a specific time on a specific day, and everyone who's in IRC at that moment wins something... You put me on the spot! I can't think of anything good!
Find either an admin or a league manager on GB, answer 5 questions and if they get it correct, they battle you 3/5 in which they get the mobile that is disadvantageous to ours!! muahahah =D

I like Mandu's idea. And yes, Mandu, it makes sense. But then again, we'd have to make dummy accounts, because we have a lot of the GBGL members on our buddy lists, which would give the older people an advantage over the newer members. We could level them to a stone axe, and change the name to "GBGLMod#" or "GBGLAdmin#" Or just names like, "GBGLStaff#"... so that they'd have no clue as to who they're battling. And it'd be completely anonymous.
Yea I forgot to mention that we would need to make dummy accounts or use our secondary or other accounts that we have made.
If this idea is going to be put into placemenent, we need to delete everyone from the buddy list.
Yea changing the name to your idea sounds good as well.
If it's a go, I'll level my Double Wooden Hammer account up, and we could make a uniform... Teddy Bear, Dizzy Glasses and Toy Hammer?

3) What's up with that point system, Tonks? "1 point (5 Questions [Max Points: 35])" How is it 5 questions worth 1 point each and a max of 35?
4) Have we decided on a naming system for these dummy accounts? I vote for "GBGLstaff#" if nothing is set yet.

OK, let's see here.
We'll have a set of questions that'll be asked to anyone from here that finds us in some random channel on some random server. If they get a certain number correct (3/5 or all 5?), then they battle us best of 5 games. We'll have noob dummy accounts that we'll get up to whatever rank is needed to enter the Free Servers and we'll name them something like "GBGLstaff1, GBGLstaff2, GBGLstaff3..." That means we'll also have the Teddy set from ranking up. So whatever eyes and flag we decide on, should be able to be purchased with the gold made from getting to that rank.
Now, we'll these questions be 100% Gunbound related, or with some GBGL trivia thrown in? I'd suggest both because it would make it easier to think of the many many questions we'll need at our disposal.
Sample Questions:
Who is the FOUNDER of GBGL?
Who took over after that?
Who is now in charge?
How many posts do you need to get to _______ rank? <-- Not so very good of a question, eh...
How much does Papercut rule?
Stuff like that... then typical GB questions I guess. =(

I never did that event, what were the questions like?
It was technical questions about GB. Some questions were, does creatures get heal bonus during full moon? Something of those sort.
I'm asking around if some people here has the questions and answers to it. I'm going to check the gfaq board as well.

I have a baby account that I can use. Can we have a staff thread telling us exactly what we're supposed to do? I'm still unsure about what this whole thing is about.
Basically, you ask the person 5 GUNBOUND related questions, they answer right, they get a point per question... adding up to 5 points total that can be recieved from the questions. Then, you play best out of 5 games, in which, you get one point per win, BUT if you win the three games in a row, you get three additional points. Make sense?

1) We wait in channels until someone who's signed up for this event messages us.
2) We ask them 5 questions, if they get them all right we battle them.
3) If they win 3 out of 5 matches, they win... something. If they win all 3 in a row, they get extra points.
I have no idea how a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place will be chosen, aside from keeping track of everyone's points and adding them all together at the end of this whole thing.
I thought it was we wait in a game room, (like the halloween event)... and no matter wheither or not they answer the five questions correctly they still play you 1v1. Correct me if I'm wrong?
Yea I was thinking more on the lines of waiting in a room in Server 12 and have the participants come find us.
Then for the questions, since its going to be so freakin easy, I decided if they miss more than 3 then we leave. What do you guys think?
If they get 3 or more right, we go onto the 1v1's. If they win 3 straight games, they get extra points but if not they just get the "normal" points.
And if they miss the, 'Who took over GBGL after Kiwi?' question... we just leave.
I say we wait in rooms. It's only server 12, that isn't hard at all. What's the point of making new accounts if we're just going to be waiting in the channel? And I say regardless of how many questions they get right, we should still play them. I will make a thread with a table of contestant names and staff members. After you play a person you put their points in the designated slot next to their name.

So yea, I've been trying to google up the Halloween questions and answers but came up with nothing. I know I saved the whole text onto Word, but I may have deleted it. If you guys could ask anybody on GB thats on your blist to check if they have the Q&A's, that be great.

No, three matches played. It's best out of three. So you can get 5 points for the questions (total) and 8 (total) from the games. (You win 3 in a row, for a shut out you get five bonus points. So 13 points... I think.

Per Question: 1 point (5 Questions [Max Points: 40]) = So in one game, max points for questions are 5.
8 Admins/Mods x 5 questions = 40 Max Points.
Win Game: 1 point (Best 3 out of 5 [Max Points: 24])
Win all three games in a row: 5 points + Winning Credit 3 points (3 Games [Max Points: 64]) = Max Points: 104
3/5 w/out consecutive win = 8 admins/mods x 3 games ( 1 points each ) = 24
-- 3/5 consecutive win = 8 admins/mods x 3 ( 1 points/game) + 5 (bonus credit) =64
Total = 64 + 40 = 104 Max Points.
For the game, 3/5 games will be played. If they win 3 games consecutively, they get additional 5 points added to their original winning points. So the max points will be = 8.
So the maximum amount of points you can get in this event is = 104.

Now, if they get a question wrong, do we continue asking all 5, or do we stop then? Then of course go into the matches.

Papercut, we just keep asking the questions... just post the points that they answer correctly. They have five chances to get the total of five points... if they don't, better luck when they go to the next person.
