Hi guys, I guess some of you might remember me back from the GBHQ forums. Indeed it's been a sad loss, with no previous warning, so anything we posted back there is gone and deaded. Pretty bad move I say.

The results were supposed to be posted on the 26 or 28th.
I'd like to say something... Caz did tell us he was going to close this soon. Just in case you were'nt reading. I was taken aback, true. But the thing is, Most of us don't play attention to such announcements(unless you're staff).
I'm not saying that its your fault, I'm just saying that it isn't anybody's fault.

Rizzano has been gone due to a family emergency, there has been talk about the Wah be so pro event, but until rizz is back on the forums, we wont know until then.
Support is given to Rizz from all of us at gbgl.

Oh I did know Caz wanted to close down the site, but if I had known a specific date, or at least a 2 day warning etc.. But just to suddenly go plop? :(
it was caz's site, we knew it was coming eventually, and he did it when he felt like it, i don't particularly like the suddeness...but its his decision and i respect that....
and yeah...it'd be nice to have the contest over here...but doubtful that all those who registered would have time to move their entry here and have it judged so soon...maybe extend it for a while?
According to this thread here (http://www.pockethouse.com/bbs/viewtopic.php?t=572), a few people were surprised by the closing, even Kiwi. I had posted that morning and came back to find the current message. Just a wee bit abrupt.
Seems to me the message said something about reopening the forums as generic game forum. Anybody know whether or not this is going to happen?
Yah, it surprised staff members like me and Kiwi i guess... In the staff forum there had been a talk about it for quite a while tho...

caz has the domain name he just shut it off since he didnt like how it was running and such. also he wont give away his domain name since he doesnt want anyone to gain popularity off the trail of the old site and such.
Wouldnt do any good to me..He would just probably let the domain expire anyway..
