I fucking hate my school.

Lets see, I got my schedule yesterday... and there were like five things wrong with it.

They gave me Integrated Math 1, which is the lowest fucking FRESHMAN course, which is lower then the math course I took in 7th grade (Pre Algebra). Last year, as a freshman, I took Algebra 2, and failed it, because I had surgery during the school year, and it caused me to miss a month of school. My teachers understood this, but I was so far behind it was impossible for me to catch up. Because I came back after the semester ended, and failed the class with a 55%. So, this year, I was planning on re-taking it, but no I guess I don't get to, because Algebra 2, according to my consoler, is a FRESHMAN course.

I plan on going to college, and maybe doing something with my life after high school, unlike about 90% of the population at my high school. And even after I stated this, they still refuse me the course. *sigh*

And then, besides this, they gave me a class that I passed (School To Careers) and I had a computer class scheduled for that credit, (we need two computer courses so that we can graduate... not like I need it... >.>) and they're refusing me the computer class I asked for, and even if they refuse to do away with the School to Careers class, they could do away with the Music/Art classes they gave me, because I already have all of my Arts/Humanities credits I need to graduate.

This is proving my thesis that my school, is run by morons.

in middle school i moved from an advanced program school in NY to a normal school in NJ and i had to take pre algebra for a second time. since i aced that class, they sent me to algebra 2 without any algebra 1 at all and that didn't go so well.

halfway through freshman year i moved across states from a trimester-based full year classes school to a half semester block schedule class school. none of my credits transferred over cause 'i didn't have enough hours'.

i practically retook biology and algebra 2 (for the third time! dumb schools keep starting me on alg 2 whenever i move)

props to the american school systems for being so good lol

That's what I love about college. You can drop and join (up to a certain date) the classes you want at your whim. If I'd been stuck with classes I signed up for at first, like in high school... I'd be here forever.

During my senior year of high school, I signed up for Physics. Just regular Physics. Well everyone else signed up for Physics AP. Since there weren't enough people in the regular Physics class, they moved the few of us up to the AP class. I failed with a 69.3, the only class I failed in high school.

Don't worry too much about it, Tonksie. The knowledge you'll actually use in life is learned in college. I don't even remember what classes I took in high school (except for that damn Physics), let alone what I learned in them. Just do what you need to graduate, empty your mind, and suck in everything you can in college. :)

However, I'm kinda getting screwed over by my school, too. I'm a TV/Film major, and it's a really popular major. I finally have enough hours that I actually have a chance getting into the production classes I need (seniors get priority pick, then juniors, sophomores get to be on the waitlist, etc.) and guess what? They're not offering them this semester! So now I'm yet another semester behind on my film classes. I'm taking boring industry and analytical classes that I don't need just to stay a student, because I already got every single other class that I need to graduate (all 70+ hours of it) out of the way while waiting to get into film classes. gg. I suggest finding a school where your major of choice isn't so competitive and understaffed.

I remember when my high school screwed me.

I aced Science 1. Instead of putting me in biology like I was supposed to do, they put me in Science 1 again.

I was supposed to be in Triginometry. Instead, they put me in Algebra 1 then 2 weeks later, put me in Algebra 2, then Algebra 3 because I kept acing the stuff. Finally on second semester, they put me in trig.

I was supposed to take English and Literature 4 but ended up in English and Literature 1.

I was supposed to be in Spanish 3 and they put me in Spanish 2 (second year in a row).

I was supposed to take speed typing but instead they put me in keyboarding and applications (learning how to type...like I don't know. Half the time I don't look at the screen or keyboard when I'm typing).

I never did have a P.E. class. Somehow, they missed putting it on my schedule.

Ahhhh. The good ol' days.

I was supposed to go in High Maths but they rejected me and put me in Normal Maths, even if I had the required average for it and after I got a certification from my 9th grade teacher that I would indeed go in High Maths >_>

I was supposed to go in Spanish I but the bastards cancelled the course without telling anyone and they gave me grade 11 geo instead(ajaja watch me own everyone I pro at geo lar).

Yeah, Canada's school system is a lil less sucky, but still sucky

I was suppose to go in normal math, but they put me in high math.  I failed, and now im in normal math! :D GO ME!

I just came back from getting my school books, and I got my final schedule, and they decided to put me in high maths O.o

So I have my high maths books and I'm going in high maths. Yay! But I have normal Sciences, which isn't important because I aim at becoming a linguist and teaching a random language at university level.

I do all of my courses on a computer (easy as hell to bypass their security; gogo firefox), in my school, which is located in a mall. My school has like 50 students total. >.>;

I like it, I can breeze through the crap that I know, and actually have time to learn something in the rare occurence that I haven't done that type of thing in like five previous courses.
