I know youcan't play against someone at the same IP, and I understand that completely, but what about playing on the same team as someone at the same IP? Just wanted to make sure. Thanks. :):

basically you're asking if u can play 2 on 2 with yourself as your partner? From my opinion that takes out the idea of an actual 2v2.

well, it could be fairly used in a 2v2, you could use a friend and 2v2, however we won't allow it. It can be abused =/

what?
of course you can 2v2 with someone on the same ip, because the partner never has to report or anything. only the team master

no, I don't want to know if I could play 2v2 with myself as my teammate. That's obviously cheating, and I would have to be friggin retarded to ask that. I'm a bit offeded that you would assume that was what I was asking. I wanted to know if my wife can be my teammate. Our network is set up with one computer as a gateway for the other, therefor there is only one IP for both computers. Our cable service provider charges $4.95/mo for extra IPs. I just wanted to know if we would get banned for playing together in a league game. If so, it should be stated in the Beginner's Guide, IMO. It seems I'm getting two answers here. Obviously there are abuse concerns, please let me know of a final, definate answer.

the final answer is that you are allowed to play 2v2 games from the same ip (not against each other though, like feeding wins for each other's teams) but with each other. of course :)

first off, we can't find out since your partner never has to take part in the reporting stuff.
secondly, it's great teamwork to sit close to each other and play!

true, ignore me I'm an ass =p
Go on, team up with your wife =D

ok, cool. thx for the info! :): and no hard feelings, I just hate getting blamed/accussed of cheating. it's crazy on GB, I hit a couple high angle shots and get accused of using an aimbot, then next game when I miss every other shot, I get called a n00b...it's irritating! :P
