Skins for World Champion

For those of you that have already downloaded the new World Champion stuff from the website, you can see the differences if you tried to start up the game. As I said before, the login interface now has 2 parts. 1 where you login, and a 2nd where you choose what game you want to play, either Gunbound or *snicker* Rakion.

The login interface no longer includes a news section, and the game chooser's news section looks to be quite massive. Anyway, the point is, while trying to convert my skins to this new Login.dat system, I've found out a few things that I'd like some opinions on or that I just have to tell you about.

1st, there is no longer an options button. It has been replaced by a Cancel button that exits the login interface.

2nd, the news is gone. Now, I didn't put the news section in many of my skins, thankfully. However, for the GBGL Members skin, I did. Now there is a massive empty space there. Any ideas on what I should do with said empty space?

3rd, the checking version animation has been removed, which sucks. So skins like the Kill Bill one, who's preliminary feature (in my mind) was the animation, now lack some luster.

4th, on a good note, when I eventually make some new skins, I'll be able to do both parts, and have some more options for creativity.


Now, for your part. Just let me know what you think should be done about the missing news section parts (for those that had the news), leave words of encouragement, suggestions for just how I'm going to convert some of these skins *hard work coming* etc :>

Random thought enters head:

I remember watching a CS flash movie, there were a few characters based on skill and what they did in game (i.e. Camper, Pro, Noob, etc).

We could do like...

Money Whore, Pro, Fake Noob, Noob, Dragon Botter, etc.

But if you wanted it to look good...you'd need to get an artist to draw the stuff =S.

Meh...dumb idea maybe =S? Could put bannered links to sites concerning GB...etc.

Blake, I'd have to test some things out to try and get that to work, but I like the idea... just don't know if I have the skizzles.

It would be so fucking cool, like an intro scene to GB.

Here's my proposed set-up...but I can't do anything to make it, sorry (noob GFXer and coder all that crap <_<). But one thing I do have is ideas :.

Ok, it starts off with a fight scene. Beginner v. Noob flashes on the screen (like how Solo Start! shows up). Then it zooms on in the BEGINNER (chick rank on bigfoot) who says OMG! I DUNNO HOW TO PLAY!. Then he taps the spacebar and he team damages himself. Then it zooms in onto the other guy, Noob Lamer (silver dragon on a dragon bot), who by accidently walks over to the left and smashes his botting program (a silver box with an arrow pointing to it saying BOT PROGRAM) on the floor and says, OMFG! I CAN'T BOT ANYMORE! Then duals himself at 90 degree angle for 1200 damage. Then, MONEY WHORE (metal axe with money suit on boomer), comes in to take the place of the botter. He full power 89 shots and hits directly and says jajajajaja. Then the wind changes to 2 and he misses, and he goes, "OMG! FUCKING NOOB HACKER!" Then, "THE PRO," comes in (Blue wand with Nak) and does a DK with a dual (first shot explodes on money whore, second kills the bigfoot). Then DOUBLE KILL flashes on the screen, and then end it with a thing that says Gunbound: World Champion.

By the way...sound would make it better.

And this is probably going to be impossible  :<_<: . Anyways...I wouldn't really care if the drawing isn't that good, it's the point that is conveyed. Use stick figures from MS paint for all I care, as long as the animation is good, it would be awesome  B):.

If he could make that, and someone could host it on there website, I don't see any reason why this couldn't work... Plus it would be fucking cool.

If you want to change options go to softnyx folder and do it manually
And the videos with camper, god,etc are called de_aztec and dust

I love the idea, it's amazing. But that would take a LOT of work, but if tempest is up for it, it would be teh secks.
