What's up with all of this generalizing? Just because 1 and 2 sucked doesn't mean that 3 will suck. Saying that is just being ignorant.

I myself found the last two movies to be...mediocre at best, well...they had their moments. I'm going to see the 3rd because I've heard it's better and I'll never be able to judge unless I actually see it.

Seriously, if you're thinking about seeing the movie then go fucking see it. Don't let some asshole change your mind because of THEIR opinion.
Random fact about Vin Diesel:  Vin Diesel once cooked 400 tons of chicken noodle soup for the needy but then drank all but 1 in a bet with Samuel L. Jackson.

uh_yea

I thought it was good. It was'nt that bad to me.

there was a article a few weeks back where George Lucas said he forced himself to write Star Wars Epi. 3 by spending more time writing because he just couldn't think of anything

Shaft

I just needed to see the Lightsaber duels. The old ones were pretty bland, so heck.

vollendetII

The old light saber duels were like watching two kids fight with flashlight beams with crappy sound effects. As for the mushy-mushy kissy-kissy love scenes...there`s a little bit of that in EVERY Star Wars movie whether it be before or after. How else would Georgie boy get the non fanatic women to go with their boyfriends/ husbands?

I think Star Wars all together sucks so hard it would make for a spectacular blowjob, I hate all these people who just like the movies for one reason, their friends and everyone else likes it, when in their mind while they watch the movie they are thinking..

"Isn't this the same god damn thing that happened in the last 20 movies?"

It is so repetitive it's like watching the anime series Naruto, only the boring factor skyrockets compared to Naruto, the games look better than the actual movies themsef, and I bet the reason why is because George Lucas didn't make them.

I really don't plan on wasting my valuable GunBound time to go out and watch a movie I know will keep me up for the next few weeks wondering what kind of crazy shit took over my body and took me to the run-down theaters that held that piece of shit movie in it's presence.

In short, I don't like Star Wars.  :dualwink:

Just saw star wars today... it was actually pretty good

the only things I have against the movie is some battle scenes are short or has the jedi beating the shit out of a opponent that should be at around their equal strength(ex:obi-wan vs. general devious).. and some emotions looked force(first time Padme cried in the epi. 3)

Dain

It was okay, not the best, but okay.
eh... nothing to put here now

I saw the mvie just recently and I must say that it was good, simply not great.

The ending was so amazingly corny I couldn't keep a straight face, especially with Vader's long, drawn-out "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!111eleven"

Lol, I liked that noo =P  The raw amount of special effects and scenery, in short, the budget is simply amazing!  industrial light and magic or whatever its called really does own at that kind of stuff... I still can't get over the pro effects and detailed settings; even just coruscant or any one of the planets introduces is amazing alone.

Nevertheless, a good movie; weak points = dialogue and love scenery.  George Lucas shouldn't have been the one to write the script -.-

Brian Lee is ugly.

ltlatimer

ok, now that I've seen it, my opinion is that it's not as bad as most people here say. I liked it, despite strong public opinion that it "sucked". All I can say is "If you didn't like any previous newstarwars movie, & you went to see this one, stop crying about it because its your own fault you went to see a movie you knew you wouldn't like."

& LD1, its general "grievous"

KillerDreaming

last post: Which is why I am not going to see it.

Don't avoid seeing a movie just because what other people say. If you're afraid of wasting your money, oh wow it's like 5 dollars out of your pocket (depending on age). People like Ebert and Roepert and the others in newspapers and stuff make me sick.
