This post will explain the important things that happened and how it affects nS`T in the process...

1. Shere and I AND MONKEYFAT are the new administrators of GBGL. And a lot of people in nS`T are also moderators and such here, therefore I will need to lay down some rules about how things should be handled. I'll explain further about this in the post.

2. While the Softnyx event is going on for the Teddy Suit and 10k CASH, all people who left and created another guild in order to attain the event prize are allowed back into nS`T, unless I or another High Council or Conclave person gives me a reason not to let them back in. Currently MugShot has been accepted back in yesterday, and I understand that the contest is still being held until the beginning of Sept.

3. Being leader of this guild, it's important for me to play GB with the people in my guild. However, this will not be possible while I have school. I will rarely be going on GB starting September 8. Fortunately, I will be very active on the forums and will be helping out with the site (seeing as how I am an admin now) to make up for my lack of time on GB.

4. The nS`T 1 Year Anniversary Contest was cancelled because the rules were deleted along with the private forum. The rules have been restored in the backup and the contest will be re-held beginning Sept.1 and ending on Sept.30. You can find the rules here: http://www.gbgl-hq.com/smf/index.php?topic=6942.0

5. Shere has informed me that the SMF boards do not allow for passworded private forums. We will have a "private" forum where we post all our guild related things. The only difference is that anyone can read them. :kiwi03: Our private forum is: http://www.gbgl-hq.com/smf/index.php?board=61.0 . You may or may not have access to these forums.. I will fix the permissions later.

6. JonnyBoy has been pretty much handling things while I was on vacation, and we discussed a various amount of things to change within the guild; some are major, some are not, but all of them will affect the guild as a whole in one way or another.

Changes
a. Starting immediately, June 15 through September 1 (6/15 - 9/1) is considered off-season. Off-season means that all guild battling and any other guild events and/or contests will be put on halt until the first day of September, unless the event is made specifically to be held during off-season time. I think this is a very important change because it will allow people to have a break from guild 'stuff' and won't be pressured to play during their summer relaxing time. During this time, guild battling will NOT be in session.

b. In the near future, there will be some major updates to the guild site, guild recruiting process, and guild rankings. We will eventually move out of freewebs and do a new HTML based site here at GBGL if Shere allows us webspace. If not, then we will stick with freewebs and do HTML there. As for the recruiting process, it will be totally redone so that there will be a voting/vetoing process among the Council members and myself. THere will also be some new rules laid out for both the High Council and the Conclave and what their jobs are.

c. All people in the High Council will be granted moderation power in the nS`T forums ONLY unless they are a glob already at GBGL.

And back to point 1, I want to lay down some rules for any nS`T that have staff positions here at GBGL.
Rules
1. No one is to act elitist and or superior just beacuse you are in nS`T and the fact that you have moderation powers at GBGL or elsewhere. If I even smell it, someone's going to get grilled really hard.

2. Remember to follow the basic rules of moderating. A lot of you, if not all of you have already had mod powers at one point or another on a different forum and should be able to follow through accordingly.

We are going to have fricking 80% of the posts in the nS`T forums by moderators xP that will be a little weird...
At least we can trust everyone to be responsible and not really need any moderating...
(except the occasional post from our beloved monkeyfat of course ^__^)

He has a pass word protected forum down at the bottem, but to do that we would have to make a whole new site.  Too much work if you ask me(well i dont know how hard it is to make a site)

Perhaps I didnt explain about the private forums correctly. Each guild will have its own member group which will have permissions to see its own private forum. You can send me   or monkey a list of names you want to be in the group. I think thats what was discussed anyway.

Also, of course you can have a nst.gbgl-hq.com sub-name. o_o

BTW Shere, you need to teach me how to use SMF. I've only used Invision before and I'm not sure how to work some of the functions.
