:):  I'm glad you made the simulator  :):

edit: threw in a 1st spin, just to make right side shooting feel complete.

I like the 1st spin chart better, it is usually really hard to get high angles.   At least for me :):.

If you dont already know, Trico's shot 2 initial angle depends stricly on the slope Trico is on.  To know what is your slope, you take the angle at the center of your true angle (20 deg bellow the highest posible angle), if this angle is 30 you are on flat ground but, if it is 80 you're on a 50 deg slope and trico's shot 2 will start at 50 deg higher than at flat ground.  This initial angle diference adds up in the final angle too.

What the simulator does is simply to vary the slope trico would be on linearly, when using 10 deg the slope is 0, when using 90 deg the slope is 40.  In mathematic therms  slope=(angle-10)/2.

I did this so the shots you do on the sim would have the most likely initial angle you would have in GB.

This usually doesn't affect at all, for example if you always use true angle cause the true angle is only 20 deg wide, so the shot will differ only aboud +10/-10 deg which doesnt affect.  But if you used the bottom of the untrue angle instead of the top, your shot's angle would differ by 40 deg, and thats enought to have you miss a 3in1.

Like doing 3in1s wasn't hard enought, now you must compensate for the slope you're in. LOL

---- edit ----
So you know initial angles are:
-shooting right: 27 deg like this \
-shooting left: 80 deg like this \
Like I metioned, your slope angle is added to these values,  in the direction of the slope.

The rotation speed is 160 deg in 1 sec.  At SG speed the shot travels 1.14 screens per second, so you could SG an enemy that's 1.1 screens away right.  :D: But you'll probably be on a downward slope so make that 1.0 screens away.

thats interesting that it ahs to do with teh slope the trico is on... I thought it just started parallel to the angle you used shooting right

thanks for the extra info :)

I have finally tested all these distances and powers and such enough to satisfy myself!
I find the 1 spin most useful. 1 spin is really freaking hard to figure out, but wind has almost NO effect on it.

that full screen, angle 16, 3.27 power hits. its so sexy. there was a wind change, (6 down) I added a little power (.1), raised 1 angle, and tada, another wonderful happy gleeful trico 3 in 1.

Quotesince both of them are way easier and turtle has a lot more life and defence too ^^
I agree with the first part, but since when did turtle have more hp?  >.>

boomer and turtle have like what, 925 hp?
Trico has 1100
Besides... boomer has.... well, enough defense that i could easily land 700 on it

i go by 0mniscience (with a zero) in GB

There's a reason that's my name :)
