at what angle do you suicide? what angle do you use to explode someone one screen away from you, for shot 1 and 2?

TonksLT

Why don't you play it and figure it out for yourself? -.-

I just want to know why the hell you'd want to suicide.

Suicide: Angle 90 any power
Shot 1: Angle 0 - 90 variable power
Shot 2: Angle 0 - 90 variable power

Frog's shots go one inch to the right or left of the shot Ramza  :P  So to suicide you'd have to use an 88.

creedo

He asked about suicide because frog's shot doesn't explode on impact, you'd need to do something like 89 full shot 1 <-- to make it hit the floor and walk back into you, or 89 full shot 2 -->

I don't know if 89 will suicide or not but I bet 88 will land too far away to allow you to hit yourself.

Frog's shot is so light that I'm gonna guess that maybe 83 full is 1 screen.

Knowing the suicide angle is essential for most formulating, but since it's 90 for all other bots, it's never mentioned.
But if you wanted to calculate wind adjustment + distance for any fixed power shot, the formula is always 90 - distance ± (wind*wind factor).

But frog will have to be 89 - distance ± (wind*wind factor), unless 89 doesn't quite TK either.

thanks a bunch. alright ill get a buddy and see for myself.

Only if your enemy has a perfect flat land close to him. Or the formula gonna fail.

khamsoul

yes, i realize that. same thing for for trico only if you and the enemy are on level ground, same for turtle ss. i just thought it would be nice to have a rough idea in my head when im playing frog.

formulating frog is harder then formulating nak... tiny differences in land makes it really impossible without knowing exactly where to land it to make it roll right in the first place...
it all comes down to if you can judge the rolling distance. However, knowing at what angles the shot lands would be helpful I guess.
