hmmmm i'm trying to rate myself o.O... i've played 404error before (he's a friend of a friend) and personally you should definately revamp person to person rankings... if you think 404error is a 9 you are playing with the wrong people o.O (no offense 404 you are pretty good, who knows maybe it was a differnt one) i hope im not sounding too pompous or presumptious but i guess i just play with a different crowd. for example i can first turn SS in any wind with armour and hit 99.9% of the time ask anyone here that has saw me play and i VERY rarely miss. Yet i can get rocked by some players that are just so disgustingly good it's crazy. One of my buddies for example was kicked from the guild because he apparently aimboted... which i know for a fact is not true. But all aside i'd love to play with a few of you sometime. And now a ranking you can add here i know you all will love a certain silver dragon 5.0 if that. i saw them team hit in 3 games CONSECUTIVELY one of which cost us the game. cbhui you still have my vote you're tips have made the GB experience that much better for COUNTLESS GB players across the world. Liale msg me sometime and ill show you someone a reason to add an 11

You cannot rate a player. Ever. There is no real way to go at it.

It's true. I covered it. I admitted it will never be perfect. But clearly, there are some players who are better than others. I try to rank them as best as I can.

I don't have much time to elaborate now, but why would you even enter a room where you knew people would not play seriously (i.e. an Oddity room [where you would be kicked from instantly by ANY of our members] or a ToolMob room [when I used to be in it])?  You would just be wasting your breath ranting at us to play better, sir.  *Salute*

404Error is far from what liale makes him out to be, I know I played with the guy for over 6 months now. Yes he is good, but he isn't that good. Yes he can hit 90% of the time, but guess what? He is a boomer player, its 0-1 wind 95% of the time. IF you miss in that wind more then once in a row you shouldn't be playing the damn bot.  once the wind is stronger a small wind reverse can easily fuck him up, since he does carry a wind reverse and rarely looks at the wind.

Yeah I noticed that a lot of people hate liale, metal, fuji, and a few others.

The reason why I saw fit to lock this is because more than one member has complained directly to me, incuding a staff member, that this topic is becoming very personal.  It's belittling to see someone's name put down lower where they think they should. It is also becoming intense, as people have pm'd me and im'd me that this is getting to be "heated."

There is no real way to rate someone, because when it comes down to it, it all points to one thing - Stats on GBNet.  Doesn't matter what account, and it really doesn't matter who you think is better than who, because then it feels like a personal attack on the person.   The game is meant for fun, competing to win, but having fun doing so.  As you yourself have seen Liale, I will turn around and shoot a TK shot just for the heck of it once in a while because I don't really care if I lose or win, it's the fun of the game I am in it for.

The League is for fun, and also to be the best you can be, but does not promote rating one person over another.  Hence the forums will also not be used as a breeding ground to promote harmful feelings (unintentional they may be) toward other people.  Therefore this reply will stay up for 24 hours, then this topic will be deleted.
