Turns out the comic event wasn't a complete

Well, one thing has come out good in the gunbound cartoon contest. Wong, a.k.a. Pocketmancer from www.pockethouse.com, was picked for one of the official comic people! He deserves it, even though hundreds of others were stealing his work. Go Wong! I guess it turns out that they looked at some of them >_>.

Either way... I don't really see why he was picked... Some entries were far better than pockethouse, which is, I remind you, a sprite comic with very little original artwork... As for the entertainment value, that's subjective, I guess.

...No it doesn't. Look at the old comics. You would get the jokes. Yeah, wong was stupid by putting up inside jokes in a very widely public comic, i know. But the old version was very good. He also has other good comics.

Pockethouse was funny for a very short time.  It's just..redundant now, just like Gunbound.

As we can tell by the comic contest, you can make any sort of shitty GB comic with a joke about a newb beating a "pro" or a hacker, and people are going to laugh at it.

People will luagh at anything, including a man getting hit in the crotch by a football.
But that is beside the point, pocket house was a good idea and he has organized and presented it well, just becuase he managed to take a sprite comic and make it popular doesnt make his accomplishment any less interesting.

also whats wrong with sprite comics, look at 8-bit theater, granted hes a genius, but its a sprite comic non-the-less.
