It may be a dead thread, but this guide has helped me. I have been called pro many times now, aimbot a few.  I'm not trying to act selfish but, without this guide, i would have never been to where I am now =X

I just started using formula about 3 days ago, and wow....

It's not as hard as it seems. It helps me SO much, as I am getting closer and closer.

With the help of Dietsnapple, I've got down the 3.0 power but the Skybomb ss is killing me.  I just starting using your timebomb chart and its working pretty nicely.  Btw: check your inbox.  ^^

Could u come to GB Vietnam and play with me man ? 1 more thing ur timebomb SS chart is really inaccurate. Plz make it perfect man, I see that timebomb is stronger than skybomb for some reasons because the highest skybomb i mad through force is 700 and the highest one through THOR only with timebomb did 800.

Hey creedo! i want to thank you for writting your guide. Origianlly i google searched and found your site. Now i am a huge turtle pro and dont even use the formula anymore, only in sticky situations.

Ive been having trouble with skybomb SS in the new version of gunbound. It seens that up wind/ down wind where previously had little or no effect is forcing the ss to spread too early and as a result, 3 balls hit and i get 150 dmg.

Is this just because im still using too much power? Probably.
I was pissed i missed this shot by a little. had really good potiental damage.
I tend to stray from ss nowadays, since i get 700+ damage through force using high angles alone with dual plus in avatar off. Makes for 18gp 1500+ gold a game in 4v4.



And my successful shots, avatar on. Most involved major weather.



i guess i just dont know when to use full power, or when to bring it down an angle and use 3.5 power. oh well thanks for the pro shots creedo!

I can answer that...

For about 1 screen distances, use 3.9 power. Lower power as you get closer to yourself, IE

You are 1/2 screen away. The wind is 2 in your face. My normal shot that I use is 84, 3.8. But look at the wind. Use your normal formula for wind that is directly at your face, which is 2, and divide it by 2. Wa-lah. You figure out that you have to use 1 angle lower than normal.

But it is obvious that you can not do this always. For the situation above, I would add more power, to around 3.85 or 3.9, and move back a little. It just won't open perfectly unless you do so.

Another situation.

Wind is 10 going ^. One of the things I have read is that for every 10 wind, you lower your power by about... 0.25. So I end up doing (for a 1/2 screen shot) 3...... 3.55, or around there, maybe even 3.6ish.


*** all of that is without using a test shot. For the skybombs, if the wind is low, then just use a skybomb. It is a lot harder for >1 screen shots though. Otherwise, use timebombs.

It must be avatar on for the 800+ damage shot, right? Or does force now affect the SS?

Snapple's info looks good too, except I tend to use a bit less power, about 3.75 - 3.8 ... 3.9 for past 1 SD or wind.

Also it's a good point about against wind (that's something that's missing in my guide) - against wind 'slows down' the shot and you must add a hair of power, even though you'd think left and right wind shouldn't affect the airtime. You have to deal with the same thing with timebombs and with trico 3in1s. Wind towards the enemy also requires lowering the power a bit.

The power I use all depends on a situation... But that's weird that you use such low power. I don't know what's up -_-;;

Ah i see, thanks for the tips! really big help i been using SS death a lot latley with turtle! Oh and yea those where avatar on, i have one on the old version of gb, where it was the same instance but i had 47 attack not 41, and dmg was 889.

I had 803 with thor on avatar on, 50 attack. Decent, I guess....
