i feel like gunbound isnt going to last another 2 years from now.  servers are never ever full even on weekends.  Death of GB is near.  i quit about 2 months ago and i had a feeling this would come one day.

I remember back in the days of two zones we thought gunbound would disappear due to the issues they were having then but hey that was about 7 months ago, look where we're at now!

Meh I have recently lost interest in maple story...its not very challenging...and I have started playing GB more.

I doubt it will die, its a well made game despite its flaws.

Yes this is true.. And the reason the servers 11 and 12 aren't full anymore is because server 8 is also avatar off and it takes off the massive influx of avatar off players from 11 and 12.

yeah, I don't see why anyone would predict dying when they don't have the exact numbers of how many are signing up and playing each day. All we have is a general impression and my impression is that it's still growing. There are a ton of americans that haven't heard of it still and that'll also mean another growth spurt.

Signs we're growing -

-Number of av. off servers grew
-Made separate brazil, phillipines, and now vietnam servers
-Game designers haven't slowed down output of new stuff. Even if most of it is meaningless new avatar, they are still putting out more work. Usually when games are dying you stop seeing work being put into the game.
-More and more people seem to be hearing about gbpros, gbgl, and my own fansite. Before I used to maybe see 1 or 2 ppl a day who recognize me, now it seems like 100.
-Keep adding lots of registered users here on GBGL.

Ahahahaahh.  You sir, are full of shit.  Every post I've seen from you is deprecating the "deplorable" quality of softnyx.  They give us a free game, which despite all your complaints, has been meaningful enough to you that you hang around a forum dedicated to that game despite your not playing it anymore.  It has had over a million players in all likeliehood, which is an extroardinary work for a free online game.  I think there's something that needs to be reiterated here: FREE FREE FREE.  Every game mode is accessable for FREE.  The only thing that paying money gets you is a new look and convenience.  I think softnyx should get some revenue, don't you?  Hosting 12 servers that over 250,000 people play on from over the world has to cost some money, as does employing the 5-10 people they have.  What has Softnyx done to me?  It's given me a fairly amusing game to play, despite the many bugs in the program.
