To anyone debating this, I have one thing to say:

Shut the fuck up, please.

I don't give a rat's ass how you hit the opponent. All I see if I'm playing with you is your shot and whether or not it hits.

You wanna do it by crunching numbers? Bully for you, just DON'T MISS. Same with feel players.

At first, I was against formula users just because I prefer keeping math and videogames mostly seperate. However, I soon came to realize that none of it matters. The only thing that matters is the outcome of the game.

As long as you're not using an aimbot, I seriously wouldn't care if you calculated shots by ejaculating and mapping the trajectory of your semen because I'm only going to complain if your method doesn't work.
Random fact about Vin Diesel:  Vin Diesel once cooked 400 tons of chicken noodle soup for the needy but then drank all but 1 in a bet with Samuel L. Jackson.

Amen to you, Jedi.  Although I'd like to add, more often than not, it's only the feel players complaining about formula users that I see around these parts.......

thats because most of them blow goats and think that formulas will make you some kind of god while playing this game. ;):

But there is also the fact that most aimbotters use an excuse saying that they use formulas from creedo's site. I had a lot of aimbotters say that they used 2.4, I'm not stupid I know what 2.4 looks like and their shots sure as hell weren't 2.4 nor 3 bars.

Thing is many people on GBGL can't tell an aimbotter if the guy smacked them in the face with it. They trust nice people too much thinking that the said person is just a skilled player

I don't mind people who use formula...hey even I throw in a formula here and there. I just have a problem with people who use formula then say they use feel just to make themselves sound "better" or more experienced.  :<_<:

Some person left cause I said I used a formula to hit him. -.-

<------ GBGL lied to me.

i agree with jedi cuz it only matters wheter you win or not..
:]

they think formula is cheating lol...but what i dont get is they say like formula = no skill.  So guessing shots = skill?

Heh, word up dawg... Err, yeah; once again, there are players with truly pro feel shooting, I think phan talked about zhern's proness with just about any angle.  Phan himself has created formulas and charts for like angles of increment 10, therefore, it would fail the customary test of matching with "traditional" formulas such as bjsl, 2.4, and ban pao.  So yeah, extremely hard to tell between aimbot and pro feel, both shoot quite fast but as phan said, how the fart do you know if the aimbotter purposefully misses, waits a few seconds before shooting, etc.

Thank god these kind of feel pros are quite rare ^^

Brian Lee is ugly.

yeah heh I get steamed about this too. You never see formula people walking around whining about how feel people choose to shoot, although sometimes I DO get mad seeing a feeling player miss shots in 0 wind that I know 100% I would hit using simple formulas.

In the end I think people are proud of "feel only" are like people who are proud that they never used a computer for anything. They're ignoring a useful tool because they're too lazy to learn it and pretending like it's some "moral choice" they made.

But creedo, maybe people just want to play the game without thinking.  I know that I don't play the game to think or to hit or even win, I play it because I enjoy the game.  And I know that if before my shots I was thinking and was worrying about hitting I wouldn't enjoy it as much.

I don't really care if people use formulas or not, if they are enjoying doing it then good for them.  In the end it comes down to what the person is playing the game for.

That's pretty much me. I would love to be able to hit first-turn duals from far away, but I'm way too lazy to read/learn any kind of formula. I have a small grasp of 89 full power in 0 wind, and that's about it.

I'm not bad at hitting on the second-shot by pure feel, just from experience. For the first shot I take a guess at it, then adjust from there. It's by no means a random guess though, I check the wind, whether I have a low, medium, or high angle, and just let the power go where it goes.
IRC is where the magic is at.

Although aimbotting and formulating are arguably the same thing(I don't wish to argue, so no), I can't see why formulas should be shunned and that the real pros are the one using feel. To each his own, I guess.

And you have to realize that some people, (like me for example) has trouble with simple formula's like, A^2+B^2=C^2. So, I don't want to hear it. Me, myself, even if I had some skills in math, I wouldn't use formula... to me, it doesn't matter wheither you're "pro" or not. It's just a game, designed to have fun, and I most certianly won't have fun if I have to calculate my shots with gay ass formulas (I hate any form of math, can you tell?). I'm pretty good with feel, anyone that has ever played me can agree with me... sure I'll have off days, but... doesn't everyone?

I find it funny that now that most aimbots are patched, all the moronic Sad/Uber/Whatever players are now trying to shoot with charts and such. Whenever somebody misses they blame Creedo. "OMFG my chart is wrong, fucking Creedo" etc. :D:

Blake

As said above, feel players shouldn't get mad at formula players, whatever helps you enjoy the game, hey. I, myself, have never tried to really master a formula, I don't have any reason to, I enjoy the game as it is and that's all that matters. However, knowing a few formulas for game winning/finishing shots would be nice...I'll try it someday.
