1. Who are you, and how can you finance this website? (i.e. if you intend to run the site off donations, you need not apply)

2. If you take over the site, who will be your staffers?

3. Any plans to create a league script? (knowing that I will remove mine along with Invision power board very soon) Do you know a coder who will write one for you if you can't do it yourself?

4. What are your plans, besides watching people post and banning idiots?

That's about it... I need the person who takes over to be responsible, and to take the site farther than my lazy arse ever did. If nobody exceptionally enthusiastic makes an offer, I'll go on to the next best person. ;p

I could possibly sell the site for money. If you have $400 lying around, we could work something out.

What you get, should you get picked, or if you buy the site:

- Ownership of the gbgl-hq.com domain name (About $9/year, paid for until april 2006)
- $9.95/month Hosting account at Hostforweb.com, paid for until August 31st, 2005
- GBGL site, consisting solely of a forum. (This is not what you see now, it is what I will be implementing soon, meaning a brand new, hacker-safe forum with 3600+ members already registered ; everyone keeps their account, post count, etc, and this forum you are reading right now will be accessible as a read only archive through another URL)

Also:
* All bans will be removed before you take over the site. You get to re-ban whoever you think deserves it.
* All staff is fired. You get to pick who you want as your staff.

Please note that I am not quitting Gunbound. I just need someone to take over this site for me.

=/  I hope whoever controls the site will at least keep it running.  I think you did a decent job, kiwi (much better than I could of done :p), but it kinda seems like the site isnt much different than when you took over.  There are some changes I'd like to see, though.  Good luck finding a replacement.

i can't say i fully understand the history of the site, but didn't the founder desperately want it back as recently as six months ago?

if he started it and he still wants it back, why not finally give it to him?  or i'm missing something important maybe?
