Well...after quite a while of workin on this thing with all the credit going to Rizz, we have our own little radio station online! ^_^

So probably weekdays from about 6 AM to 9 PM PST I'll be DJing, all the rest Rizz said he would do, but just in case if neither of us can, who else would want to do it? Just respond as to how big your playlist is and what genre it is.

EDIT: Rizzano added the follwoing information:

Frenchee's Server For GBGL~Radio 6AM-9PM PST
Rizzano's Server For GBGL~Radio

We will probably have a link from the main page (or possibly a sub category on the main page of gbgl, as well as a thread. We will need to have some sort of communication going on to where if someone wants to DJ they can.  Normal stations have one server, and each dj logs on to the main server and connects, dj'ing from there.  2 things wrong with that - #1 - I do not have a system large enough to handle that, and #2 - Money.

So we need some sort of communication or scheduling chart for who wants to DJ and when, and letting the current DJ know, "Hey I want to DJ" so we are not having 2 servers going at once, or none at all.

If you want to DJ and need help getting the needed files and configurations, ask tehFrenchee or Rizzano for assistance.  Also we will have Song Requsters (where you can go to the playlist of the current dj on the web, search and select songs to be played, and they are queued up in the dj's list.)

One final thing, I would like to have DJ's that actually talk on the air once in a while. Not just a playlist running the whole time. I plan to do this when I am awake and dj'ing when im not busy.

That's all I can think of to add at the moment.

It's just a streaming playlist...Lots of programs can open it; I use Winamp, for example...
