Inactivity for about a week or so..

Hey, I'd be switching my cable to dsl and so it'll take at least one week for me to get back online.  Just letting you guys know, although I could have sent you guys PM's I just felt like posting it up. I'm not sure until when my cable will last so I'll talk to you guys when I get back.  Take Care...  :^_^:

Paying cable = $60.00 a month for comcast.

SBC DSL =$20.00 ...a month for comcast.

I don't want to pressure my parents in paying sixty bucks for internet service that has similar qualities for 20 bucks.
So yea..haha.

Actuall it is 20$ a month for the first 6 months, then it goes up to 60$ agian...I have roadrunner cable, it seems better than my friends DSL.

But that may just be a timewarner thing.

Its $20 for the whole year.

Comcast Cable goes up to $60.

DSL and cable aren't that different.  I visited different forums and such and from what I've read, DSL is similar to cable.

Meh... i guess, but DSL still uses phone lines.  Cable modems use fiber optics ^^

I just got dsl all hooked up.  It seems not that bad but I heard when I get phone calls, my dsl slows down but other then that, DSL isn't that bad.

i guess its the same.

when i was using dsl(i switched to cable now) my phone calls weren't really affected .. hmm...still was the same thing.

Oh thats a relief then..  How do you like cable compared to dSL?  

While I had cable, I didn't have an ethernet card on my comp, so I had to be on wireless.  I got half the speed of what the original speed was to be.  So to me, DSL is liek a speed god...

actually i switched to cable because dad promised to pay half of the 60 dollars for me each month ^_^

and cable is on 24/7 unlike dsl... it sometimes disconnects on me >_>
