So I got the email about trying the Rakion beta and thought to myself "Hey! That sounds better than Gunbound!". Anyways, I downloaded the launcher and tried to install the full version with it only to get a message saying my computer needed to be "up-graded". However, my specs were above their requirements, but apparently...

YOU NEED A FUCKING PENTIUM 4 TO RUN THE GAME.

What the fuck? Since when did the actual chip become important? The game requires 1.4Ghz and I have 1.6, that SHOULD be the only CPU requirement. I prefer AMD to Intel and I haven't been stopped for that choice until now. Bullshit, pure bullshit.

It could be possible to fool Rakion into thinking you have a Pentium 4.

I once fooled MSN into thinking I had IE 8 by using Regedit.  :kiwiface00:

I just checked Regedit and I have yet to see anything that dictates what my CPU would be. I assume it finds out some other way...

Wow, my specs are far above their required specs, but no I can't play because I have an AMD. Fucking retarded.

I have an AMD Athlon XP 2800+ and the game runs extremely smoothly and perfectly...

AMD Duron 1.6Ghz
768MB DDR RAM
ATI Radeon 9200 128 MB
Much, much more than 1GB free on HDD

I'm not sure, it might be my video card for some reason. Either way, Softnyx worded the requirements to make it SOUND like you needed a Pentium 4 to run it, and since it didn't run...

A duron isn't equivalent to a Pentium 4, it's equivalent to a watered down Pentium 3 (AKA a celeron)...
