Good job! Hope to play you some more soon!

I would suggest adding a few things that you probably already know:

1) Dual+ with shot 1.  Hit in front of the enemy so it puts them in a hole with a mine on either side.  If they try to stay in the hole, they will have to lean on a wall to shoot out.  Then on the next turn, the mines drop in and completely flatten the side your enemy leaned on.  Enemy is now completely screwed, and you can just keep filling the hole with mines.

2) If you dual when you SG mines, if the first 2 hit, the next 2 will also always hit.  This is sort of a glitch as far as I can tell, but it always works for me, no matter what.  You may actually *see* the 2nd two mines miss, but the "glitch" will kick in and instantly put them on the target, registering a hit.  Even if Thor is on.

3) Thor can screw up your SS, since it hits where he lands, rather than where he explodes.  I've had SS miss many times because of this.  Your big baby gets stuck in the crater that Thor made, rather than continuing on his merry way.

I always load out 2xDual+ and 1xDual.

Nice work on the guide!  I love doing the "mine slip," and I've been wondering what to call it up until now.

no, on the dual+, use the shot 2 and then shot 1 combo. This way you will make more damage to the enemy and the same turn. The problem with doing shot 1 then 2 is, if you land the mines on both sides of the player. An experienced player will know how to evade the full damage of the mines. The trick might work on a n00b, but on someone that is very experienced against raon, landing both mines on each side of him is nothing. An experienced player will walk over 1 mine and have the second one be rendered useless or make it blow back in your face. Best to do is have the blow up right away or you will be in trouble.

I agree with sol - any chance to make mines blow up DIRECTLY rather than giving the enemy a chance to escape them is is preferred.

To improvius:

Until yesterday this is what I believed too... but either this was patched (unlikely) or there are very weird, rare situations where the second set of mines can miss.

I think it's the second case - you know how you can be on a slope, and someone will shot something like raon's shot 1 and miss just in front of you, and you end up on a tiny thin strip of land but basically untouched?

A raon shotgun dualed mines at someone on a thin strip of land, and then the first set blew up the target dropped quite far (like 2 or 3 inches).  The second set of mines flew off the map and didn't 'teleport' and hit the enemy like they usually do.  They really did fly completely off the map and he ended up taking 300ish dmg.
I will say that in a more normal shotgun situation, the mines seemed to teleport and drop down and blow up just like they always do.

oi there, Bloodbug does mention this in his guide actually Creedo... you can dual with shot 2, and the 2nd shot will always hit at the same place due to a glitch but....

QuoteA really important thing to realize is that the babies have to hit ground to blow

If your 2nd shot doesn't hit land, then it is processed as going off screen, and not hitting the spot you dualed

ProfessorPap

i really love these guides, thank you very much.  i do have two critiques if you are interested:

1) anything on black is really hard to read.  lots of eyestrain i don't need.

2) the guide would be improved i think if you had an english writer proofread it.

I really don't like when people comments on others english for some reason. You know, I got no english skillz, but if there is any errors, they are minor and do nothing at the guide's comprehension anyway...

Ok, I see now.  If there's any land at all for the second batch of babies to hit (even if it's a little bit beyond the first patch of ground that blew up) the will warp and blow up, but if there's just nothing at all to hit, they fly off..

You missed the point of the strat.  The idea is to get them in a hole with the first shot.  Then they CAN'T escape the mines, unless they tele out or waste a turn shooting the mine on one side.
