Reset All Ranks?

I voted no, because it wouldn't fix anything, the top new ranks after the reset would STILL be the guys who botted or shared accounts the most.

Yeah, but it would give people now alot better chance of getting to top ranks. The ranks now are incredibly impossible to get to. I see where everyone is coming from and I understand some peoples reasons why they vote no or yes. But the main thing is even if they only ban the dragons or the top 300 or whatever theres probably more than half of the rubys were botted. I know all of the accounts that people have on this site that are rubys haven't, but theres so many of them. And someone said theres less than a hundred botters O.O!!!! Are you living in a dream??? So many botted accounts. And now if someone trys to bot it would be much easier to notice since theres the world ranking systems. Again goodjob, and keep posting you opinions!

hehe, I voted yes but I think I've changed my mind.. My reasoning was pretty much reset them so botters would all be put back to nothin  and with botting being harder everybody has a fair chance at AT LEAST getting a good rank, dragons would all still belong to botters/cheapos but oh well.. THEN i realized I'm just saying that cause I'm jealous of higher ranks, if I'd started playing Gb back when kiwi.. ruk n'so on started playing, I probably would be a red wand by now.. so yeah

It wouldn't solve anything. It would only rape the shit out of an already abused game and put the final nail in the coffin thats closing rapidly. Hopefully *coughs* something cool happens and redeems all of GB. I've yet to read one post ever thats good enough to make a Yes to this an okay answer.

stupid idea...it would only cause more problems...and people would be really fucking pissed off, like me...imagine being a legit dragon  (O_o)  and it becoming a chick...i would eat dovos first born.

yes. IMO that would make gb way more fun when everyone is on a level playing field. righht now you know who are the dragons and you can tell who will be the dragons tomorrow. imagine playing a game where being the highest ranked person is very realistic. also with ranks reset, people will take more interest in who are the dragons, and more people will notice if the botters emerge. hopefully that will spark a mass complaint against softnyx.
also if softnyx actually reseted ranks, that means they acknowledge that right now the ranks are screwed and they want to fix it. that can't be anything but good.

as some may know, i came from a line of games called command and conquer

they had a very successful and very great worked out ranking system

and after every month, theyr esetted the ranks, after the prizes were given out, and youd fight for rank 1 again

now i dont expect them to reset ranks every month, but maybe every 8 months orso?
but have a hallf of fame type of thing, where it records yoru total gp(all the months added up) and have a seperate ranking for total gp9apart from that 8 months period gp)
give out prizes to say the top 100 players after those 8 months

and have a 0 tolerance pollicy on dk botters, people leaving noob accts afk, botting,
employ more people to watch over the servers, spectate games, and eventually botters will give up on trying to cheat

but i doubt this will ever happen, yet it would bring much more competition to the game, as now u have to play for a year to get a semi decent rank

That's what the hall of fame was, exactly, except it was weekly... It was removed because it forced people to find mischievous ways of generating GP, rather than making people play more...

Thats a bad idea i think, there is alot of legit players and i dont think its fair and softnyx would never do that so keep dreaming ^_^
